Whiterock Finance are Northern Irelands’ leading alternative funding provider for entrepreneurs and businesses focused on growth and require funding between £500k and £2 million. Located in Belfast, Whiterock Finance have been supporting Northern Ireland’s business community since 2012. They understand the challenges and opportunities business owners face and what factors are needed for successful implementation of their deployed loans. Following a successful branding project we were engaged to design and develop a highly targeted B2B website.
Process
The Whiterock Finance website was built within the Wordpress framework. The ease of usability of the CMS is something that cannot be ignored. With many stakeholders contributing to the site, we needed to provide easy access and management of the back-end. Wordpress does this effortlessly.
With a little focus on search engine optimisation, coupled with best practice user experience and development techniques, the Whiterock Finance website is designed and coded for the web today and in the future. It is fully responsive and sits as perfectly on mobile as it does on desktop.
Consideration was given to the user journey and those initial landing pages users may enter the site from. Our aim was to educate, inform and help create strong enquiries for the organisation.
Solution
Following launch of the new Whiterock Finance website, the focus was building up the authority of the site in the search engines. This was achieved through a number of on site and off site activities including blog posting and social media activity. The migration from old site to new was managed with a series of redirects to retain authority for the old defunct domain.
The site continues to perform strongly and inline with expectations. It is managed by the Whiterock Finance team with development support from Kaizen Digital Evolution when required.
