We currently have a vacancy for a key Web Developer role within our digital development team. This fast-paced position requires advanced technical skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately on a range of different projects at any one time.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years’ relevant web experience
- Strong knowledge of WordPress + WordPress theme development
- CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap or other)
- Good working knowledge of PHP, Javascript and Node JS
- In-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS – HTML5 modern web standard skills
- Experience/Evidence of git version control.
- E-commerce Site Development Experience including WooCommerce or Shopify
- Cross browser compatibility and workarounds
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in dealing directly with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Familiarity with LAMP stack set-up and maintenance
- Experience working in SQL environment.
- Ability to interpret confidently with the team
- Experience with web development server architecture and Database Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Javascript/PHP frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Laravel) or other.
The Web Developer will work as part of the Kaizen Digital Evolution team, responsible for designing, developing and delivering commercially focused websites and digital assets to external clients.
Internally and externally we’re also responsible for developing strategies to reach and engage target audiences through digital channels like web, mobile, and social. The digital team are responsible for facilitating the digital transformation of the company and supporting departments in making use of digital as well as aiming to provide a better service to connected consumers.

Website Designer (Flexible on location)
Our digital marketing and website design agency primarily based in Belfast with offices in Omagh and Enniskillen has a vacancy for a Full-Time website designer.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing agency, working as part of a fun, creative team.
Responsibilities
You will be working alongside the project managers and liaising with the clients to create modern, interactive and engaging website designs using WordPress programs. You will liaise directly with the client to discuss their sitemaps and site structure to create wireframes prior to designs
Main Duties of the job include
- Creating website designs / Producing sample sites
- Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
- Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
- Implementing and maintaining high quality SEO policies and incorporating them with web content
- Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and Javascript
- Creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
- Digital retouching and image editing
- Collecting and analysing data on website usage to improve performance
- Liaising with Copywriters, Graphic Designers and Developers to ensure that tasks are completed on time
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years of experience working in graphic/website design.
- A self-learner, who is passionate about research.
Key skills
- Expert design skills and a sound understanding of brand and tone of voice.
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
- Creation of WordPress websites
- Knowledge of UI and UX design including wireframing
- SEO knowledge
- Experience of using programmes such as PhotoShop, Adobe XD and InDesign
